報告摘要：In this talk, I will introduce the background of MHD free boundary problems, and discuss main geometric and analytic ideas in obtaining a priori estimates. Then I will discuss the role played by the Taylor sign condition, from both ill-posedness and well-posedness points of view. This talk is based on joint work with Professor Chengchun Hao
報告人簡介：羅濤，1995年于中國科學院數學研究所獲得博士學位，後于美國密歇根大學( University of Michigan )、喬治城大學（ Georgetown University ）曆任助理教授、副教授、教授，現為香港城市大學教授。研究方向和學術興趣包括非線性偏微分方程、流體力學的數學理論、雙曲守恒律、變分原理、自由邊值問題等。研究成果發表于 Comm . Pure Appl . Math .、 Arch . Rational Mech . Anal .、 Comm . Math . Phys ．等國際著名刊物。
