報告摘要:In this report, we introduce a new auxetic honeycomb configuration by adding self-similar inclusion to the conventional re-entrant hexagonal structure. Theoretical models of the elastic mechanical property are developed for both auxetic honeycombs. The new re-entrant honeycomb exhibits enhanced auxeticity and stiffness compared to the original structure. Both experimental and numerical simulation methods are employed to investigate the in-plane compressive behavior of the auxetic structures, and they show good agreement. The specific energy absorption of the new auxetic structure is approximately 10 times greater than that of the original structure. In addition, the new design enhances the stability of compressive deformation, resulting in a more consistent negative Poisson’s ratio effect. Reducing the height-tolength ratio of the entire structure can significantly prevent its buckling. The proposed auxetic honeycomb exhibits significant potential for application in protection engineering, due to its superior stiffness and energy absorption capacity.

吳柏生,廣東工業大學教授。主要從事結構靜動力重分析與優化、非線性振動、結構穩定性等方面的研究。目前,已發表SCI收錄論文120餘篇,被SCI期刊他引2000餘次。負責完成國家自然科學基金課題5項。獲得包括德國洪堡學者、教育部新世紀優秀人才支持計劃、政府特殊津貼等學術獎勵。
